Artifact 1
Expectations and Rules
This artifact shows the expectations and rules that I created and presented to all my students at the beginning of the school
year. I post these in each of my different classrooms and refer to them regularly.
Expectations
1. Respect the teacher, your classmates, and the school.
2. Come to class on time.
3. Come to class prepared.
4. Keep the classroom clean.
5. Speak English
Rules
1. Food, drink, music players, gum, cell phones and hats are not allowed.
2. You will not talk or make noise when the teacher or others are talking to the class and you will raise your hand silently
to speak.
3. Keep your hands to yourself.
4. Stay in your seat and sit correctly.
5. You will do your own work, you will not cheat or plagiarize on individual work.
Artifact 2
Movie Game Presentation
In my graduate ESL Methods course I prepared a final powerpoint presentation. This presentation was both creative and proof
of learning we had acquired in that semester. I had set a goal two years previous to learn how to use powerpoint technology.
This presentation shows I have developed those skills to a high degree. (Note: the sound files have been disabled to save
space)
