Parents Night Letter
This artifact shows my desire to reach out to my students' parents in order to involve them in their child's learning process.
This is the letter I created and had translated for parent's night. During that night I had twenty different parents come
and talk to me about my classes and their child's progress. For the parents who did not speak English, the letter was translated
into Spanish and I had someone translate questions posed in Spanish.

Artifact 2
ESOL Department Meeting Agenda & Notes
This artifact shows the collaboration of our ESOL department in various areas, including academics, counselling, assessment
strategies, school environment, and out-of-school activities. I participated and typed the notes for this departmental meeting.
In addition to meeting once a month, we also meet informally everyday for lunch. During these times we usually collaborate
similar issues addressed in the department meeting.
